WHO WE ARE
CIEB is a non-profit organization, independent, activist, articulator and propeller of the changes that Brazilian education needs to offer a teaching with more quality, fairness and contemporaneity.
Created in 2016, CIEB is supported by educators and managers of reference in the national scenario. This team of enthusiasts of our cause voluntarily integrates the bodies of shared governance of the organization, which brings together representatives of civil society and public power.
At the forefront of the actions, a team of specialists in education, technology and public management develops and advises the implementation of structuring and specific projects, in partnership with different actors of the educational ecosystem.
All concepts, contents and prototypes developed within the framework of CIEB´s proposals and actions are freely accessible and available to society.
We act independently, in a nonpartisan way. We do not represent ideas of a single segment or group of power. What guides us is our cause: to innovate to boost quality, equity and contemporaneity in Brazilian public education.
We are a connecting link, stimulating qualified interactions among the different actors and segments of society involved directly or indirectly in public education. We recognize and value different views.
All our actions are public and aimed at the public good, being available in this portal and in our social networks. We open permanent spaces of dialogue with society to improve our processes and give visibility to our results.
We dare to imagine the new. Innovate, question patterns, propose a new way of doing, of thinking and a new look on the already known. Innovation is present not only in our proposals, but also in our processes.
We always work towards a higher level of quality and technical rigor. Our team and the network of specialists associated with the institution guarantee excellence in all actions - what we understand is not a goal to be achieved, but a standard of action.
We aim to effectively transform the public education system, contributing to make teaching more and more innovative, exciting, attuned to the particularities of each local reality and open to considering and integrating the individualities of each student.
• É colocada nas mãos de professores capacitados e motivados para gerar novas práticas pedagógicas centradas na aprendizagem dos estudantes;
• É utilizada na personalização do ensino, permitindo que estudantes aprendam em seu ritmo e a partir de seus interesses, mesmo em um ambiente coletivo como o da escola;
• Permite o acesso a recursos educacionais de qualidade em todas as regiões do país, auxiliando professores, pais e os próprios alunos a ampliar as oportunidades de aprendizagem;
• Diminuir a relevância do papel dos professores na mediação do conhecimento, com a falsa premissa de que “os alunos aprendem sozinhos”;
• Promover o individualismo na aprendizagem, menosprezando a importância da reflexão e da discussão coletiva na construção de conhecimentos;
• Oferecer apenas ensino a distância na educação básica, privando os estudantes da experiência de socialização do ambiente escolar;
