Eu fiz meu game: um framework para desenvolvimento de jogos por crianças

This paper discusses the framework "I made my game" which proposes pedagogical and design activities for the development of a digital game by children. The research approach was the Design-based Research, which combines research and practice in the context of the school. The research participants were four nine-years-old students - including two with intellectual disabilities - in collaboration with researchers and undergraduate students from the areas of education, computer science and game design. The study shows that game design applied to education promotes the development of creative activity in children with and without intellectual disabilities.
